If anything the push/pull seems a bit gimmicky and seems to work best transitioning from single to humbucker and not the other way around as there is a loss of volume. I had originally liked the idea of the push/pull option and now not as sure - or at least don't have other guitars with that option to compare it with. And coming from Sweetwater, it needed no adjustments at all and was still in tune.
